We will do our best to keep our website up to date on current events and happenings in and around our district and throughout Area 26. General service events at the regional or national level will only be posted with approval from the District Committee Member or they will need to be brought to our monthly district committee meeting for approval.

We will do our best to adhere to the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous at every level of service. Unfortunately we cannot provide recovery resources outside of AA. In keeping with out traditions on anonymity, no last names will be published on this website; this includes but is not limited to flyers, event posts, and any other items therein that contain last names such as hyperlinks, email addresses or website addresses.

If you have a flyer or event that you would like posted on our site please contact our Public Information Chair at pi@aasouthlexingtonky.org. Submissions should adhere to the principles of AA and contain:

  • Contact data for more information including:
    • first name only
    • email address and/or phone number
  • Sponsoring AA entity (Group Name, District Number, etc)
  • Event Information:
    • name of event
    • location name, and any special instructions (for example: go around back, located in basement, room number, shelter number, etc)
    • address including city
    • date of event
    • time of event (start and end time if applicable)
    • Other pertinent information: (Tradition 3 long form excerpt: “Nor ought A.A. membership ever depend upon money or conformity.”)

      • pot luck items requested
